If selected as the potential Grand Prize Winner (as defined in Section 6), Entrant and their potential guest (if at least the age of majority in their jurisdiction of residence) will be required to consent to a background check to verify eligibility; and, failure to sign such consents and authorizations and/or to furnish all required information will result in disqualification without compensation of any kind. In addition, Sponsor and Administrator reserve the right in their sole discretion to disqualify the potential Grand Prize Winner or their potential guest (without explanation or compensation of any kind) if the results of such background check reveal that potential Grand Prize Winner or their potential guest does not meet the Sweepstakes eligibility requirements or has been charged with a felony or misdemeanor, a crime of moral turpitude, or any other act that might reflect negatively on Sponsor, Blood Cancer United, Administrator or any of the Sweepstakes Entities, as determined by the Sponsor or Administrator in their sole discretion. All such decisions of Sponsor and Administrator are final and binding in all respects and not subject to appeal.
During the Entry Period, eligible individuals may enter the Sweepstakes in one of two ways (each an "Entry"):
Method #1 - Donation Entry ("Donation Entry"): During the Entry Period, eligible individuals will be invited to donate five dollars ($5) to receive one (1) entry into the Sweepstakes. Eligible Entrants will receive one (1) entry into the Sweepstakes per $5 donation made via GoFundMe, Inc.’s crowdfunding platform. (For clarity, GoFundMe, Inc. provides certain technology services – i.e., the crowdfunding platform – to facilitate consumers making donations through third party payment providers and, as such, GoFundMe, Inc. is not administering, holding or managing donations.) Donations in increments other than $5 will NOT be rounded up. (For example, a donation of $12 during the Entry Period will result in receipt of two [2], not three [3], entries). To complete your Donation Entry, click the "Submit" button on the Website. {Making a donation alone will not result in entry. One must complete the entry form AND make a donation during the same on-line session in order to be entered in the Sweepstakes.} Proof of inputting information at the Website (including fields on entry form and/or payment information for donation) is not considered proof of delivery to or receipt by Sponsor or Administrator of a Donation Entry. Receipt of Donation Entry may be acknowledged but such acknowledgment does not constitute a representation by Sponsor or Administrator as to eligibility of an Entry or Entrant and is not otherwise binding upon Sponsor or Administrator.
No entry/entries will be received if donation transaction is rejected by GoFundMe, Inc., the third party payment processor/fundraising platform for any reason; donation is made via any method other than the Website; or donation is made at any time other than during the Entry Period. Donations are subject to the Terms of Use of Blood Cancer United, available at https://llsorg.widen.net/s/ncdrljxzd8/en-es-web-site-terms-of-use. Donations are not refundable and may not be specified for a particular purpose or project of Blood Cancer United. Donations are made at the consumer’s own risk and may not be tax-deductible; Entrants utilizing Donation Entry method are therefore advised to consult with their accountant or other tax professional as to whether the corresponding donation is tax-deductible in whole or in part. Donations may be subject to a processing fee imposed by GoFundMe, Inc., which will NOT count toward the minimum donation threshold of five dollars ($5). For the avoidance of doubt, donations made directly to Blood Cancer United (via its website or otherwise) during the Entry Period, will NOT receive a Donation Entry into the Sweepstakes. Sponsor and/or GoFundMe, Inc. may acknowledge receipt of donation, but such acknowledgment does not constitute a representation by Sponsor or Administrator as to eligibility of Donation Entry or Entrant and is not otherwise binding upon Sponsor or Administrator.
Donation Entries that are incomplete, garbled, corrupted, improperly recorded (or not recorded at all) or unintelligible for any reason, including, but not limited to, computer or network malfunction or congestion, are void and will not be accepted.
Method #2: NO DONATION NECESSARY. Entry Without Donation ("Mail-In Entry"):
Donation Entry and Mail-In Entry (i.e., the number of entries indicated on either 3" x 5" index card or e-mail, as applicable) may be collectively referred to herein as "Entry" or "Entries."
By entering this Sweepstakes, Entrants agree to these Official Rules and the decisions of the Administrator and Sponsor, which are binding and final in all matters relating to this Sweepstakes.
FOR ALL TYPES OF ENTRIES:
Limit of one hundred (100) Entries per person throughout the Entry Period, regardless of method of entry. (Should an eligible person donate more than $500 as per Method #1 above, they will still only receive one hundred [100] Entries). For the avoidance of doubt, Entrants may enter via Donation Entry OR Mail-In Entry. Multiple Entries received from any person beyond this entry limit may void all such Entries. Entries generated by a script, macro, or other automated means or by any means that subverts the entry process will be disqualified. Normal internet access and usage charges imposed by your internet service provider may apply if entering the Sweepstakes online.
*IMPORTANT: Data rates may apply if online Sweepstakes entry is submitted via your mobile device according to the terms and conditions of your service agreement with your wireless carrier. Other charges may apply (such as normal airtime and carrier charges as well as charges for wireless Internet access) and may appear on your mobile phone bill or be deducted from your prepaid account balance. Wireless carriers' rate plans may vary, and you should contact your wireless carrier for more information on messaging/data rate plans and charges relating to your participation in this Sweepstakes. Odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible Entries received during the Entry Period.
There is one (1) Grand Prize (the "Grand Prize", fifteen (15) First Prizes (each a "First Prize"), twenty-five (25) Second Prizes (each a "Second Prize"), and one (1) Third Prize (the "Third Prize") available to be won.
GRAND PRIZE (One [1] Winner): Grand Prize Winner will receive a 3-day/2-night trip for Winner and one (1) guest ("Guest") to Charlotte, NC to attend the Bank of America 400 (the "Event") currently scheduled to take place October 11, 2026 (collectively, the "Trip"). Trip includes: Grandstand Tickets for the Winner and their Guest (Event will be held at Charlotte Motor Speedway; Tickets to Event are subject to restrictions as set forth thereon/therewith including procedure for inclement weather, prohibition on use by anyone other than the person to whom issued and acceptable conduct policy); two (2) nights’ hotel accommodations (one room, double occupancy, room and tax only) at a Charlotte, NC area hotel selected by Sponsor in its sole discretion; roundtrip economy air transportation for two (2) from major airport near Winner’s residence (as selected by Sponsor) to Charlotte, NC area airport (as selected by Sponsor); one (1) exclusive behind-the-scenes experience ("Experience") for Winner and Guest (exact details of Experience to be confirmed by Sponsor in its sole discretion) and $1,000 cash or cash equivalent. There is no retail value associated with the Experience portion of the Prize. ARV of Grand Prize: $5,000.00.
The ARV of the Grand Prize is an estimate made before the Sweepstakes begins. The actual value of the Grand Prize may vary depending on point of departure and fluctuations of hotel rates and air fares. Any difference between the ARV and the actual cost of the Grand Prize will not be awarded.
TRAVEL MUST OCCUR ON OR ABOUT OCTOBER 10, 2026 – OCTOBER 12, 2026 SO AS TO ATTEND THE EVENT, WITH SPECIFIC DATES TO BE DETERMINED BY SPONSOR IN ITS SOLE DISCRETION. GRAND PRIZE WINNER AND GUEST MUST BE ABLE TO TRAVEL TO ATTEND EVENT; IF GRAND PRIZE WINNER IS NOT AVAILABLE AT SUCH TIME FOR ANY REASON, THE GRAND PRIZE WILL BE FORFEITED IN ITS ENTIRETY WITHOUT COMPENSATION AND AN ALTERNATE GRAND PRIZE WINNER WILL BE SELECTED (TIME PERMITTING).
If Grand Prize Winner chooses to accept the Grand Prize without a Guest (or if Guest does not return Release of Liability/Publicity Release (where allowed by law), Grand Prize Winner will only receive Grand Prize in increments appropriate for themselves and no substitute prize or compensation will be awarded. Without limitation, Grand Prize Winner will only receive one (1) admission to the Event and Experience.
If the guest of the Grand Prize Winner is a minor in their jurisdiction of residence, the Grand Prize Winner must be their parent or legal guardian. Guest (if a minor in their jurisdiction of residence, their parent or legal guardian) must sign a Release of Liability/ Publicity Release (where allowed by law), prior to issuance of travel documents, which must be returned with the Prize Claim Documents requested of Grand Prize Winner, or guest portion of the Trip will be forfeited and no substitute prize or compensation will be awarded (as discussed above).
Sponsor reserves the right to condition award of Grand Prize upon the results of a background check on Grand Prize Winner and their Guest (if at least the age of majority in their jurisdiction of residence). Grand Prize Winner and their Guest agree to fully cooperate in the conduct of such background check, timely providing any additional materials, information and consents requested by Sponsor or Administrator, with the understanding that Sponsor may refrain from awarding the Grand Prize (and/or, allowing Guest to accompany Grand Prize Winner on the Trip, as the case may be) without liability of any kind if Sponsor determines in its sole discretion that the past conduct of Grand Prize Winner and/or their Guest would disparage or adversely affect the goodwill and business reputation of Sponsor and/or its products, Blood Cancer United and/or its charitable mission, HMS, NASCAR or William Byron (including, by way of example only, commission of a felony, an act of insurrection or any act of moral turpitude). Grand Prize Winner and their Guest further understand and agree that any decision by Sponsor as to the results of a background check is final and binding.
Winner and guest must follow all instructions of Sponsor and NASCAR (as well as of the venue hosting the Event/Charlotte Motor Speedway) relative to attending the Event and, should Grand Prize Winner and/or Guest fail to adhere to such instructions or engage in unruly, obnoxious, anti-social or otherwise inappropriate behavior (as determined by Sponsor, NASCAR, HMS and/or Event venue, in their sole discretion), Sponsor/applicable party will, without further notice or warning, eject Grand Prize Winner and/or Guest from the Event and/or take other actions as Sponsor deems appropriate in its sole discretion so as to protect its rights, without liability or other obligation to Grand Prize Winner and/or Guest. If behavior of Grand Prize Winner and/or Guest is deemed to be particularly offensive or egregious by Sponsor, Sponsor may pursue legal sanctions against Grand Prize Winner and/or Guest (as applicable).
The Experience portion of the Grand Prize is subject to additional restrictions to be provided to Grand Prize Winner and their Guest prior to Trip. By way of example only and without limitation, participation of William Byron is subject to his availability and not guaranteed. Any meeting with William Byron will be supervised by representatives of Sponsor and/or HMS. William Byron may or may not in his sole discretion (a) autograph items for Grand Prize Winner and their Guest; or (b) pose for photographs/recordings with Grand Prize Winner and their Guest (i.e., "selfies"). Any such meeting may not be recorded by Grand Prize Winner and their Guest without permission of Sponsor, HMS and William Byron and such permission may be withheld without liability of any kind. Any such meeting may include persons in addition to Grand Prize Winner and their Guest and may be recorded by Sponsor and/or HMS without further notice or compensation.
Sponsor reserves the right to change the dates of the Trip period, or any other component of the Trip, for any reason and in its sole discretion. All components of the Trip must occur on consecutive nights. Grand Prize Winner and their Guest must travel on the same itinerary. Travel must be reserved through Sponsor/Administrator’s agent. Sponsor/Administrator’s agent will attempt to accommodate Grand Prize Winner’s preferred itinerary, but all specifics thereof will be at Sponsor/Administrator’s agent’s sole discretion.
All expenses not specifically mentioned herein are not included and are solely the Grand Prize Winner’s responsibility, including but not limited to: round trip transportation between the Grand Prize Winner’s/Guest’s residence and any airport of origin, ground transportation while in Charlotte, NC area, food, alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, gratuities and tips, insurance (health, travel, medical), laundry service, merchandise, parking, room service, service charges, excursions, souvenirs, spa services, local and long distance telephone calls, taxes, incidental expenses, and any other charges or items which are not expressly included in the Trip. Itineraries and departure dates may be changed, cancelled or discontinued at any time. Sweepstakes Entities will not replace any lost, mutilated or stolen tickets, travel vouchers, gift cards or certificates (as applicable). Grand Prize elements may not be separated, sold, exchanged or redeemed for cash, traded, transferred, substituted, assigned, or used for commercial purposes. Once Guest is selected by the Grand Prize Winner, Guest cannot be changed without the express consent of Sponsor, which may be withheld for any reason.
Airline carrier and hotel regulations and conditions apply. Airline tickets issued in conjunction with the Grand Prize are not eligible for frequent flyer miles. Airline tickets are nonrefundable, non-transferable, and are not valid for upgrades. No one-way trips or upgrades allowed. Depending on airport of origin, flight(s) may not be direct. Unless otherwise necessitated by Sponsor, no stopovers are permitted on tickets issued as the Grand Prize; if an unauthorized stopover otherwise occurs, the Grand Prize will terminate and full fare will be charged to Grand Prize Winner from the stopover point for the remaining trip segment(s), including the return. Once hotel accommodations and flight arrangements have been confirmed, no changes will be allowed except by Sponsor. Winner is solely responsible for any and all baggage charges, taxes and any other charges incurred after or in connection with the issuance and use of airline tickets. Sweepstakes Entities are not liable for any expenses incurred as a consequence if any component of the Trip, including flights, is cancelled/delayed/postponed or unavailable for any reason, and Grand Prize Winner will not be reimbursed, and no substitution will be provided, except in Sponsor’s sole discretion. Grand Prize cannot be used in conjunction with any other promotion or offer, and any element of the Grand Prize not accepted or used by the Grand Prize Winner will be forfeited (including if Grand Prize Winner and/or their Guest chooses not to attend the Event).
Grand Prize travel is subject to capacity controls, availability and certain other restrictions, which include a Saturday-night stay, all of which are subject to change. Airfare may not include government taxes, Passenger Facility Charge or September 11th Security Fee. All airline tickets are subject to the vagaries of flight variation, work stoppages, and schedule or route changes. Sponsor reserves the right to structure travel routes in its sole discretion. The roundtrip air transportation element for any travel prize begins and ends at the point of departure. Should Grand Prize Winner live within reasonable driving distance of Charlotte, NC area (as determined by Sponsor/Administrator in their sole discretion), air travel component of Grand Prize will be replaced with ground transportation (or stipend in an amount of Sponsor’s sole choosing to be used for ground transportation) and no substitute prize or compensation will be awarded. Other hotel fees are not included and if applicable may be payable at the time of check-out by the Grand Prize Winner/Guest.
Grand Prize Winner and their Guest must at all times during the Trip act in an appropriate, well-behaved and respectful manner (as determined in Sponsor’s/Event personnel’s sole discretion) including complying with the Event’s Code of Conduct and Safety/Security policies. In the event the Grand Prize Winner and/or their Guest engage in behavior that, as determined by Sponsor in its sole and absolute discretion, is obnoxious or threatening, illegal, is intended to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other person, or is contrary to Sponsor’s (or its affiliates’) property rules or policies in effect at the time for the Event, Sponsor reserves the right to terminate the Trip or other applicable experience early, in whole or in part, and send the Grand Prize Winner and/or their Guest home with no further compensation. Grand Prize Winner acknowledges and agrees to be solely responsible for any actions, claims or liabilities of themself and their Guest related to any use or misuse of the Grand Prize or any Grand Prize-related activity or travel. There may be specific state or government health agency instructions, guidelines and requirements for all visitors to the Event. Grand Prize Winner and their Guest are solely responsible, at their own cost, for staying updated on and complying with any of the latest restrictions and requirements that may be in place for travel to and visiting the destination and premises leading up to and during the planned stay. Such restrictions and requirements are subject to change.
Grand Prize Winner and their Guest are solely responsible for obtaining any and all necessary travel documents (valid REAL photo I.D., credit card, etc.) before departure. Government-issued photo identification and credit card or cash deposit may be required at check-in for incidental charges (e.g., room service, use of telephone/IT services, laundry, damage, and all other optional extra services not provided in the Grand Prize). Grand Prize Winner and their Guest must comply with any applicable hotel check-in requirements, such as presentation of a major credit card (and should Grand Prize Winner not have a credit card/payment instrument with sufficient available credit/funds to pay for a hotel stay of two [2] nights (or in such other amount as prescribed by hotel), Winner agrees to sign additional documents and/or take other steps prescribed by Sponsor and/or Administrator, upon request and without compensation of any kind, so as to protect Sponsor and Administrator from incurring any liability for damage to the hotel and hotel room caused during the hotel stay by Grand Prize Winner and their Guest). Certain restrictions, as determined by Sponsor, may apply. If Grand Prize Winner and their Guest cannot comply with these restrictions or any other portion of these Official Rules, the prize will be forfeited in its entirety and provided that no prize elements have been used, an alternate Grand Prize Winner will be chosen from among all eligible entries (time permitting).
The Trip is awarded "as is" with no warranty or guarantee, expressed or implied, being provided by Sponsor. Grand Prize Winner and their Guest will not receive compensation for any element(s) of the Trip that any participant(s) is unable to use for any reason, and such unused portion(s) of the Trip will be forfeited. In the event Grand Prize Winner is able to take the Trip, but the Event does not or cannot take place as scheduled or at all, for reasons including but not limited to inclement weather, cancellations, postponement, location changes, security considerations, an event of force majeure, or for any other reason, then Sponsor reserves the right to award an alternate prize of comparable value (i.e., 3-day/2-night trip to Charlotte, NC).
FIRST PRIZE (Fifteen [15] Winners): Each Winner will receive one (1) signed, limited edition #24 William Byron Hendrick Motorsports Racing Car poster signed by William Byron (autograph does not have a retail value and no representation is made as to any said value; no certificate of authenticity will accompany poster). ARV of each First Prize: $18.00. ARV does not represent re-sale value of limited/special edition or collectible items.
SECOND PRIZE (Twenty-Five [25] Winners): Each Winner will receive one (1) limited edition #24 William Byron Hendrick Motorsports Racing Car t-shirt (exact color, size, style and design of t-shirt at Sponsor's sole discretion). ARV of each Second Prize: $15.00. ARV does not represent re-sale value of limited/special edition or collectible items. For clarity, t-shirt will not be autographed by William Byron.
THIRD PRIZE (One [1] Winner): Winner will receive one (1) piece of race-used sheet metal (exact race and piece of metal at Sponsor's sole discretion and may not include any particular logo or color scheme) taken from the #24 Hendrick Motorsports Chevrolet driven by William Byron in actual NASCAR-sanctioned competition. ARV of Third Prize: $100.00. ARV does not represent re-sale value of item; no certificate of authenticity will accompany the item. For clarity, race-used sheet metal will not be autographed by William Byron.
Total ARV of all Prizes: $5,745.00.
All applicable U.S. federal, state and local taxes (including, but not limited to income and withholding taxes, sales taxes), on or connected with claiming a prize, and the reporting consequences thereof, and any other expenses not specifically included in a prize description are the sole responsibility of the Winner. Grand Prize Winner will receive an IRS Form 1099-MISC reflecting the total fair market value of the Grand Prize. In conjunction with such tax reporting requirement, Grand Prize Winner will be required to provide their Social Security Number or Tax Identification Number via IRS Form W-9.
Limit of one (1) Prize per person/household. Prizes are non-transferable and no substitution will be made. Prizes are not redeemable for cash. Physical prizes will only be awarded to a street address located in fifty (50) United States or District of Columbia. Grand Prize must be accepted in its entirety or not at all; Grand Prize Winner may not accept only certain elements of Grand Prize. If any element of prize is unused by Winner, no compensation or substitute prize will be awarded, and Sponsor, Administrator and Blood Cancer United disclaim any and all liability in conjunction therewith. Any images of any prize in advertising are for illustrative purposes only and actual item(s) awarded as the prize may differ from such images with Sweepstakes Entities disclaiming any and all liability in conjunction therewith. Allow up to 6-8 weeks after completion of Prize Claim Documents for delivery of Prize. Tracking numbers will NOT be provided. Sponsor will not replace any lost, mutilated or stolen prize or any prize that does not reach Winner because of an incorrect or changed address or other contact information. Prize(s) returned as undeliverable may be forfeited. Winners are strictly prohibited from selling, auctioning, trading or otherwise transferring any part of the prize (as applicable).
In the event there is a discrepancy or inconsistency between disclosures or other statements contained in any Sweepstakes promotional materials and the terms and conditions of these Official Rules, these Official Rules shall prevail and govern.
Administrator will attempt to notify each potential winner as set forth above, but Sponsor and Administrator are not responsible for any delayed, corrupted or undelivered e-mails, including without limitation e-mails that are not received because of a winner’s privacy or spam filter settings which may divert any Sweepstakes e-mail, including any winner notification e-mail, to a "spam" or junk folder.
In the event of any dispute concerning the identity of any Entrant that Sponsor is unable to resolve, the Entry will be deemed submitted by the natural person who is the authorized account holder of the e-mail address associated with the Donation Entry or the e-mail address indicated on the Mail-In Entry, as applicable. "Authorized account holder" is defined as the natural person who is assigned to an e-mail address by an Internet access provider, online service provider, or other organization (e.g., business, educational institution, etc.) that is responsible for assigning e-mail addresses for the domain associated with the submitted e-mail address.
By entering, Entrants also authorize the Sponsor and its designees (including Blood Cancer United) and HMS to use their name, voice, likeness, photograph, Prize information (if applicable), biographical data and city and state of residence in programming, advertising and/or promotional material or on a Winners' list (if applicable) without compensation to the extent permitted by law. Sponsor is not obligated to use any of the above-mentioned information or materials, but may do so and may edit such information or materials, at Sponsor's sole discretion, without obligation or compensation.
All federal, state and local laws and regulations apply. All entries become the property of the Sponsor.
Sponsor and its agencies are not responsible for failed, partial or garbled computer transmissions, or for technical failures of any kind affecting the Sweepstakes in any manner, including but not limited to electronic malfunction or damage of any network, hardware or software. If for any reason the Sweepstakes is not capable of running as planned, including, but not limited to, infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud or technical failures beyond Sponsor’s control that corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the Sweepstakes (including entries or otherwise), Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual, whether or not the individual is a participant in the Sweepstakes, who tampers with the entry process, and to terminate, modify or suspend the Sweepstakes. In such event, Sponsor reserves the right to conduct the Sweepstakes and award the Prizes in a manner which is fair, appropriate and consistent with these Official Rules, as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion. Notice of termination/modification/suspension of Sweepstakes will be posted on the Website. No responsibility is assumed for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or loss, destruction or unauthorized access to, or alteration of, entries; or any problems or technical malfunctions of any telephone network or lines, computer or internet online systems, servers, or providers, computer equipment, software, failure of any e-mail or electronic entry or participation to be received on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any website/platform, or any combination thereof, including any injury or damage to any person's computer related to or resulting from participation in or downloading any materials from this Sweepstakes. Failure of Sponsor or Administrator to enforce any provision of these Official Rules shall not constitute the waiver of such provision. If any provision of these Official Rules is found to be invalid or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
Entrants further agree not to knowingly damage or cause interruption of the Sweepstakes and/or prevent others from participating in the Sweepstakes. CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT TO DAMAGE ANY ONLINE SERVICE, WEBSITE OR PLATFORM OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE SWEEPSTAKES OR TO DEFRAUD SPONSOR, ADMINISTRATOR OR BLOOD CANCER UNITED IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE SWEEPSTAKES, MAY VIOLATE CRIMINAL OR CIVIL LAWS. IF SUCH AN ATTEMPT IS MADE, SPONSOR MAY DISQUALIFY ANY PERSON, WHETHER OR NOT THE INDIVIDUAL IS A PARTICIPANT IN THE SWEEPSTAKES, MAKING SUCH ATTEMPT AND SEEK DAMAGES TO THE FULLEST EXTENT OF THE LAW.
